The panel type of a monitor determines its color accuracy
There are Three Types of Basic LG Computer
- Twisted Nematic (TN), panels are cheaper and offer smoother motion, but they are not as accurate in color. Also, the colors can shift or tint when viewed from an angle. These panels are the best option for gamers and budget-conscious shoppers, but they are becoming less common.
- In-Plane Switching panels (IPS) are better at displaying colors accurately and offer great viewing angles. However, blacks can be a little more washed out. This display is the best for all purposes, except if you intend to play in a darkened room.
- The panels of Vertical Alignment (VA), which are located in the middle, have deep blacks and great colors but blurrier motion and less viewing angles. These panels are used in gaming monitors that are geared towards single-player games with slower speeds.
